In terms of design and construction, the two are nearly identical, showcasing silver sunburst dials with chronograph registers in their respective colors. Essentially, it’s a matter of swapping blue for green in this latest limited release.
The case of the new replica wacthes of the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green is made from sandblasted grade 2 titanium, measuring 39mm in diameter and 14.35mm in thickness, with 22mm-wide lugs that result in a total lug-to-lug distance of 47.4mm. It features a box-shaped sapphire crystal with curved edges on top, and the caseback has a screw-on display. Similar to other modern Monaco models, the chronograph pushers have an angular, oblong shape, differing from the traditional round pushers found on vintage models. It also offers 100 meters of water resistance, making it suitable for various moisture-related activities.
The new super clone TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green replica watches features a silver sunburst dial, preserving the original two-register layout of the Monaco along with a date window at 6 o’clock, similar to last year’s blue version. Additionally, the Super-LumiNova dots along the outer edge of the hour markers have been refreshed to a pale green, providing a contrast to the blue luminous dots seen on last year’s model.

This movement is based on the Sellita SW300-1 and features a Dubois-Depraz module for its chronograph functions. The performance specifications are standard for this movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offering a 40-hour power reserve. While the Calibre 11 maintains the crown/pusher layout of vintage Monaco models, it does feel somewhat dated when compared to modern in-house movements. It would be exciting to see replica TAG Heuer create an in-house left-crown chronograph movement for future Monaco editions.
The strap on the new replica TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green is made of green calfskin leather, reflecting the design of last year’s blue model. It is attached to the 22mm lugs and features perforations for added flair. The inside of the strap is lined with bright yellow, which complements the yellow accents found on the dial and hands. Other than the new color, the strap is essentially identical to last year’s blue version, securing with a sandblasted titanium folding clasp that showcases the vintage Heuer shield logo and functions with a double push-button release.
