Many people claim that Patek Philippe watches are unattainable, but this is primarily true for certain models. In fact, most Patek Philippe watches come with reasonable prices. The more complex models tend to be very expensive and difficult to replicate closely. However, the sports models like the Nautilus and Aquanaut are also significant for Patek Philippe, particularly the Nautilus, which has become one of the best-selling replica watches in recent years. While many factories have released replicas of the Patek Philippe Aquanaut, this version from ZF has its unique advantages. Let me share more about it with you.
First, the case thickness of this watch is very close to that of the genuine model, measuring just 8.8mm, making it the thinnest replica watch available in the market. The case is crafted from 316F stainless steel and plated with 18K rose gold. The brushing treatment on the rose gold case is particularly noteworthy, as it mirrors the 1:1 treatment of the authentic version. In my opinion, in terms of appearance, brushing, and curvature, this Aquanaut case is the closest replica to the genuine watch.
Second, the dial features a brown color with a checker pattern that is more closely aligned with the genuine version than other replicas. The brown shade resembles chocolate, complementing the brown rubber strap perfectly. The dial boasts excellent texture, and the checker pattern gives it a distinctive appearance reminiscent of a grenade. Additionally, the hour hands and markers are fully filled with Swiss lume, allowing the entire dial to emit a strong glow in low-light conditions.
The brown rubber strap features the same checker pattern as the dial and comes with a rose gold deployant clasp engraved with the Patek Philippe logo. This strap is made from high-quality natural rubber imported from Malaysia, making it soft to wear and resistant to dust.
Through the crystal case back, you can admire the impressive movement inside. ZF utilizes a Miyota 9015 automatic movement as the base, which is then modified to resemble the genuine Patek Philippe 324CS. Currently, among all replica Patek Philippe Aquanaut versions, this ZF movement is the only one on the market that features the correct balance wheel position, just like the authentic model. The clone movement is beautifully crafted, showcasing the correct golden emblem and engravings on both the rotor and movement plates. Additionally, this clone PP 324CS movement has one of the lowest repair rates among its counterparts.
